DR7 Medical Centre Services

We cater to the health needs of all your family. Here are some of our main services.

Your GP can help you stay independent for longer and to live with dignity. We can help with issues such as incontinence, mobility, falls, or declining memory. Many assessments, treatments and medicines for older people are subsidised by the government. Just ask your GP.

The purpose of antenatal care is to improve the health and wellbeing of mum and baby and should begin before pregnancy. Our GPs provide support and guidance every steps of the way. The health of both mum and baby is monitored through regular examinations, screening tests and ultrasounds.

Immunisation protects children against a range of preventable and life-threatening diseases and infections. Some recommended vaccines are funded by the government. Routine immunisations for children under four include; chickenpox, hepatitis B, measles, meningococcal AWCY, mumps, polio, pneumococcal, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough.

GP Management Plans are comprehensive, long-term care plans, made just for you if you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, stroke, cancer and chronic pain. Our GPs will manage and coordinate the ongoing care you receive from all your healthcare providers.

It’s important to protect yourself and your family from serious and preventable diseases and infections. Our GPs provide the protection you need with vaccinations for children, travel, your work and more.

Feeling tired or lacking energy? You may be iron deficient. In some cases taking iron supplements orally isn’t effective or can’t be tolerated. Our GPs can offer iron infusions (IVs) directly into your blood stream.

A Medication review is a systematic assessment of a patient's medication management with the aim of optimising the quality use of medicines and minimising medication-related problems. It is a multidisciplinary responsibility that ensures the ongoing safe and effective use of medicines at all stages of the medication management pathway.

If you are having difficulties with your mental health that are impacting your day to day life, make an appointment to see your GP and if appropriate they can help facilitate your care with a Mental Health Treatment Plan. This involves a collaborative plan with your GP regarding the best way to manage your mental health.

Workers Compensation / Motor Vehicle Insurance Trust (MVIT)
You will need a written referral from a Doctor if you are claiming through a compensable body such as Workcover, MVIT or DVA. Consultation and splint fees can be billed directly to the insurer.

We offer appointments for work related accidents or injuries. We must use Workcover or your company’s private insurer for these visits as workplace related accidents or injuries are not claimable through Medicare.  You do not have to take time off work, the claim is to cover the doctor’s visit and any medical expenses you may incur to do with this accident or injury.

We have doctors who are workcover trained.
