Your GP can help you stay independent for longer and to live with dignity. We can help with issues such as incontinence, mobility, falls, or declining memory. Many assessments, treatments and medicines for older people are subsidised by the government. Just ask your GP.
The purpose of antenatal care is to improve the health and wellbeing of mum and baby and should begin before pregnancy. Our GPs provide support and guidance every steps of the way. The health of both mum and baby is monitored through regular examinations, screening tests and ultrasounds.
Immunisation protects children against a range of preventable and life-threatening diseases and infections. Some recommended vaccines are funded by the government. Routine immunisations for children under four include; chickenpox, hepatitis B, measles, meningococcal AWCY, mumps, polio, pneumococcal, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough.
GP Management Plans are comprehensive, long-term care plans, made just for you if you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, stroke, cancer and chronic pain. Our GPs will manage and coordinate the ongoing care you receive from all your healthcare providers.
Dr Hershel Goldman runs the Melbourne Circumcision Centre from Camberwell Road Medical Practice on Wednesday mornings. Dr Goldman has more than 25 years' experience performing circumcisions for medical and cultural reasons. Dr Goldman will counsel you about the risks and benefits, as well as giving follow up care.
Dr Christopher Bagot provides healthcare that focuses on your physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing. Integrative Medicine combines western and evidence-based complementary medicine and therapies to achieve the best of health.
Feeling tired or lacking energy? You may be iron deficient. In some cases taking iron supplements orally isn’t effective or can’t be tolerated. Our GPs can offer iron infusions (IVs) directly into your blood stream.
We have a Psychologist at Camberwell Road Medical Centre, Ms Rosemay Williams.
Rosemary will assess your condition to provide the appropriate therapy and treatment for your needs which may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Employers may require health screening. Our GPs provide pre-employment health assessments including hearing, vision and fitness tests. Blood and urine tests can also be arranged. Injured at work? Your medical expenses and wages may be covered under workers compensation and WorkCover.
Expert Podiatric care is now available at Camberwell Road Medical Practice. Mary Romanos, Morgan Mackie and Julia Madigan specialise in the diagnosis and management of foot and lower limb problems.

Our GPs have additional training and experience to assess, diagnose and treat skin cancers. We use special equipment including dermatoscopes and photographic monitoring of skin lesions to assess your skin. We can sometimes treat pre-cancerous lesions and early skin cancers with non-surgical treatments. The surgical services we provide include biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy and curettage of superficial skin lesions. When necessary, our GPs will also perform skin flaps and grafts.

Our GPs offer education and advice to minimise health risks while travelling and provide medications and immunisations. Common requirements are prevention of malaria or altitude sickness, treatments for diarrhoea and allergies.

Our GPs will look at your medical history, recommend suitable, long-term strategies and refer to other healthcare providers such as dieticians.
