We cater to the health needs of all your family. Here are some of our main services.
Immunisation protects children against a range of preventable and life-threatening diseases and infections. Some recommended vaccines are funded by the government. GP Management Plans are comprehensive, long-term care plans, made just for you if you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, stroke, cancer and chronic pain. Our GPs will manage and coordinate the ongoing care you receive from all your healthcare providers.
Dr Green has additional training and experience to safely treat a variety of skin problems and reduce the changes seen with aging and sun-damaged skin. Treatments include anti-wrinkle injections and Dermapen Microneedling.
It’s important to protect yourself and your family from serious and preventable diseases and infections. Our GPs provide the protection you need with vaccinations for children, travel, your work and more.
Feeling tired or lacking energy? You may be iron deficient. In some cases taking iron supplements orally isn’t effective or can’t be tolerated. Our GPs can offer iron infusions (IVs) directly into your blood stream.
Speak to your GP if you’re struggling to cope, feeling low or anxious. Our GPs can assess your condition and may provide therapy and treatment. Our GPs also support people with dependence or addiction problems.
Employers may require health screening. Our GPs provide pre-employment health assessments including hearing, vision and fitness tests. Blood and urine tests can also be arranged. Injured at work? Your medical expenses and wages may be covered under workers compensation and WorkCover.
The Kingston Skin Clinic is located at Kingborough Medical Centre to treat and manage skin conditions and skin cancers.
Our GPs have additional training and experience in skin conditions and skin cancers.
Our GPs help manage and treat acne, rosacea and dermatitis. We can also remove moles, cysts and ingrown toenails.
We use special equipment including dermatoscopes and photographic monitoring of skin lesions to assess your skin.
Sometimes, we treat pre-cancerous lesions and early skin cancers with non-surgical treatments. The surgical services available include biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy and curettage of superficial skin lesions. When necessary, we will also perform skin flaps and grafts.
Perform your best with the help of your GP. We not only treat injuries but offer advice on physical fitness, exercise, nutrition planning and rehabilitation.
Our GPs offer education and advice to minimise health risks while travelling and provide medications and immunisations. Common requirements are prevention of malaria or altitude sickness, treatments for diarrhoea and allergies. We are also an approved yellow fever vaccination clinic and provide you with yellow fever vaccination certification in the form approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO). This is essential for travel to areas such as sub-Saharan Africa and tropical South America. Please make sure you book in for your yellow fever vaccination no less than 10 days before entering a risk area.
