Glenorchy Medical Centre is located in new, purpose built premises. Access is via glass doors at the Main Road end of the car park. Otherwise the centre can be conveniently accessed via sliding doors inside the Elizabeth Hope Priceline Pharmacy.

Here at Glenorchy Medical Centre, we pride ourselves on our excellent medical service. Our well trained and friendly staff are ready to help with any of your medical needs. Our Doctors have many years’ experience and are well equipped to help with all your ongoing health requirements.

Glenorchy Medical Centre is a fully accredited General Practice.  It is a purpose built Centre conveniently located at 346 Main Road, Glenorchy and is accessible from inside the Elizabeth Hope Priceline Pharmacy or via our main entrance from the side car park.   At the Glenorchy Medical Centre we’re committed to providing personalised general practice from Monday to Friday.

Our Centre participates in a reminder system which informs you of recurring health care issues such as annual check-ups, care planning, birth control and immunisations.

Our doctors and staff make sure that you the patient are our number one priority and with our updated facilities and services, you can be assured that you and your family always get the best of care.

After Hours and Home Visits:

After Hours telephone support and advice is available by contacting HealthDirect on  1800 022 222.

After hours healthcare is available at After Hours Doctor located at 252 Main Road Moonah Tasmania – phone 03 6165 2360.

Home visits may be provided for regular patients of the centre –  This can be discussed with the Doctor.

Practice Communication:

Most issues are best dealt with in consultation with a Doctor & Patients are encouraged to make an appointment at  a convenient time. Doctors do not communicate with patients via email but at times we will endeavour to take patient phone calls where practicable.

If you have any feedback, including concerns or a complaint, please feel free to contact our practice manager on (03) 6274 0800.

Privacy Policy:

The centre complies with all confidentiality and privacy obligations with regards to the management of patient health records (privacy policy available within practice).

Test Results and Referrals:

Test results can be obtained in a booked consultation. Referrals to specialists must be made during a consultation and will not be provided from a phone request.
