Prospect Medical Centre Fees & Appointments

Fees and Payments

Prospect Medical Centre is a bulk billing practice.  Private fees may apply for non-Medicare patients and skin checks and procedures.  If you are unsure, please check with reception.

Medicare cards and concession cards must be presented before each consultation.

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners cards). All workers compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company.

We accept walk-in patients on Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 9:30am to 5pm. Priority is given to people who have made a booking.

Our appointment system caters for urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative healthcare. If you need more time with your GP, please book a long consultation. Urgent appointments will be seen by the next available GP. Please advise reception if you believe you require an urgent appointment. Urgent appointments will be triaged by the nurse on duty.
