Fees and Payments
We bulk bill consultations, however forms, procedures and acupuncture are privately billed. Fees may vary due to the length and complexity of a consultation and are determined by the GP. Please check with reception or your GP if you have any concerns or queries. Please present your Medicare Card before each consultation.
If you do not have a Medicare Card you will be required to pay a fee. Payment is required on the day of the consultation and payment can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners cards). All Worker's compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are privately billed and patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company.
This centre operates on an appointment only basis. We understand that acute illnesses are not planned and provide appointments for 'on the day - urgent conditions'. . At times you may experience a waiting period due to GPs tending to urgent or complex medical issues. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding
Our medical centre operates on an appointment basis. Appointments can be made via our website at anytime; or using the app GP4Me . Alternatively phone 8322 2824 for an appointment during opening hours. Standard consultations are 10-15 minutes. Our appointment system caters for urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative healthcare. , Urgent appointments will be seen by the next available GP or triaged by the nurse on duty. Please advise reception if you believe you require an urgent appointment.
Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.
After hours healthcare is available through GP Connect on (08) 8130 3333.
Home visits may be available to regular patients of this medical centre whose condition prevents them from attending the medical centre. These are provided at the discretion of the GP.
