Enhanced Primary Care
Enhanced Primary Care ie when your doctor coordinates the development of team care arrangements consisting of allied health practitioners and specialists to help with successful management and care of your health needs.
Your GP will work out a care plan that is best suited to your needs in regards to managing your health needs. Once your Enhanced Primary Care Plan is in place, you will be able to access eligible allied health service identified in the plan on referral from your GP.
Antenatal Share Care
Pregnant or to-be-pregnant patients can be seen by their regular doctor for most of their pregnancy. Your doctor sees you every month for the first six months , fortnightly for the next two months and then every week for the last month.
All the necessary blood tests, ultrasounds and hospital visits will be arranged for you by your doctor.
Travel Vaccination and Immunisation Clinic
Many Australians have developed the travel bug which is shared by a number of the practices doctors. Most people who travel overseas enjoy good health and don’t contract disease or illnesses. But to be on the safe side you need to think about some simple health issues. It is always wise to ensure your tetanus, diptheria, polio and hep B and Hep C vaccinations are up to date while in some destinations precautions against malaria and yellow fever are advised. As some immunisation schedules take up to eight weeks to complete it is advisable to discuss your plans with your doctor well in advance.

Children’s Health Checks
Children’s health checks include monitoring development and normal milestones, immunisation and health promotion. Healthy Kids Checks for 3-4 year olds can assess readiness for school and provide an opportunity for early screening for visual acuity, hearing, coordination as well as motor skills and other areas of development.
Occupational Medicine and WorkCover Consultations
Some occupations have increased risk of injury or illness, and doctors specialising in occupational medicine aim to ensure that high standards of health and safety at work are maintained. Occupational medicine may include but is not limited to treatment, management and prevention of injuries, return to work planning, pre-employment medicals and WorkCover consultations.
