Fees

Doctors working in the centre have adopted a blended approach to private and bulk billing fees to ensure all patients have equitable access to the quality healthcare  they deserve and need - Individual GP consultation fees may vary. 

Andrew Nash Clinic may offer bulk billing services for Pensioner consessions, Health Care Card  & Veterans' Affairs  card holders. This is done at the discretion of each individual GP. Medicare cards and concession cards must be presented before each consultation.

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards). All workers compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company.

Appointments

Walk-ins

We normally require people to make a booking but we can sometimes help if you walk into the Medical Centre. Priority is given to people who have made a booking. If you have an urgent situation we will try to make an appointment on the same day.

 

Appointments

Our appointment system caters for urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative healthcare. If you need more time with your GP, please book a long consultation. Urgent appointments will be seen by the next available GP. Please advise reception if you believe you require an urgent appointment. Urgent appointments will be triaged by the nurse on duty.  In certain circumstances the practice may require a prepayment fee to secure a booking  following non attendances of appointments. We thank you for your understanding.

 

Waiting Times

Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.

 

After Hours

For appointments out of hours, please call 1300 130 147.

 

Home Visits

If you are a regular patient and can’t travel to the medical centre, your GP may be able to visit you at your home. This is at the discretion of your GP.
