Thomas completed his medical studies at the University of Notre Dame in Darlinghurst in 2015. He spent 2 years working at Wollongong Hospital, and a further 2 years at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals gaining valuable experience in a broad range of areas including emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, dermatology, ophthalmology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, geriatrics, and psychiatry. Thomas began his general practice training in 2020 and enjoys the privilege of providing whole-person, patient-centred care through the many varied challenges that life brings.

Prior to medicine, Thomas studied music at The Conservatorium of Music, Sydney. He was awarded a position as a violinist in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellowship program in 2007, and worked as a casual musician in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra between 2006 and 2012. Outside of medicine, he is kept busy with his spouse and 3 young kids, and an ever-present goal riding his bike more.
