Our Practice at Dee Why General Practice
Here are some tips to make your experience with us go as smoothly as possible.
Calling your GP
Your GP will try to take your call but may be away or busy with patients. Please let us know if it is urgent.
Please make an appointment with your Doctor if you would like to discuss results, as the nurses no longer offer this service over the phone.
These must be done during a consultation with your GP. Repeat referrals are given at your GPs discretion and you may be charged a fee.
You must make an appointment to get a medical certificate and, we regret they cannot be backdated.
Recalls & Reminders
Our reminder system is to tell you about recurring healthcare issues such as annual check-ups, care planning and immunisations. Please advise reception if you want to opt out of reminders. You may also be asked back for a follow up appointment, if your GP advises.
Dee Why General Practice acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
