Welcome to Dee Why General Practice
Dee Why General Practice is open seven days a week to provide healthcare for your family. Our GPs offer a number of services and we have a treatment room for minor procedures, wound management and vaccinations.
During the Covid-19 situation, we remind our patients to continue with their usual health check-ups, procedures and immunisations. We are open and seeing patients in the centre as well as via telehealth (phone or video) consultation, for which bulk billing may be available; please see the Fees and Payments page on the practice website for details.
We have implemented safe practice in our centre including physical distancing, shorter wait times and additional cleaning overnight and between patient consults.
It is recommended that all patients attending for a face to face appointment wear a mask while inside our practice. Please bring your mask with you if you have one. Thank you for your understanding.
ALERT: If you have flu-like symptoms, including a fever, cough, headache, sore throat, sinus, earache, shortness of breath or loss of smell or taste it is important you seek medical care early as these may be COVID-19 symptoms. Please contact us via phone prior to making a booking or visiting the medical centre. Please advise at the time of booking if you have been in an area identified as a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 2 weeks or you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
To help maintain physical distancing within our centres, it is recommended that you do not bring anyone with you to your appointment unless it necessary. Thank you.
Dee Why General Practice acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
