Despite the uncertainty generated by the coronavirus pandemic, IPN Medical Centres has continued to be successful and secure.

We are fortunate to have experienced teams throughout our organisation that have allowed us to keep our centres open, and to provide a safe environment for doctors, staff and patients.

We were able to plan and adapt quickly and efficiently to the pandemic by drawing on the foundations of medical leadership within our organisation. We have  worked closely with  Doctors across the different entities of our parent company Sonic Healthcare, both internationally and in Australia, along with the Australian government and leading medical organisations. This has given us the opportunity to provide our GPs with the security and stability they need during these unprecedented times.

Making sure COVID Safe procedures were implemented in all of our practices, e.g. best hygiene practices, a set up to screen patients, social distancing protocols, and allowing practices to keep offering face to face appointments safely when needed.

Daily communications were sent to all doctors, nurses and practice staff to ensure they were receiving accurate and up to date information as it developed. We also held regular educational webinars for GPs, hosted by our CEO Dr Ged Foley and our CMO Dr Gun Soin.
